After our short haitus in releases, Actraiser steps up to the plate and really gives Cut something to shout about. The Phantomile EP from Bristol based Actraiser demonstrates Rob's natural ability to craft classic sounding, yet forward thinking dubstep tracks.
Throw in a cheeky remix of Shadow Boxing, alongside the pounding "The King Is Dead" or the more ethereal tones on title track "Phantomile" and you've got a 5-track EP destined for the DJ boxes of many, and an EP that we're really proud of here at Cut.

Cut started in January 2011 by DFRNT, Cut is a netlabel providing free music with an emphasis on quality. Cut's aim is to show you that free music can be as valued and highly regarded as any other.
Cut hopes to bring out a range of regular free releases spanning electronic bass music from dubstep, drum & bass, garage, bassline, techno, dub-techno, or whatever you like.
Most netlabels have a stigma attached to them leading people to assume that because the music is free, it's low quality. Cut has set out to debunk that myth.

ActRaiser is an electronic music producer, creating music for clubs, home listening, and indie video games.
His music is always deep and musical but retaining enough punch to work on the dance floor. He can be found making tracks of all genres, Dubstep, Drum & Bass, Riddim House, Footwork, Jungle or Chillout.
He has music released on a wide variety of labels such as Echodub, Cut, Gradient Audio, Stepping Forward, Paradise Lost and Car Crash Set.
