macabro is an electronic project from Latvia founded in 2006. As the time moved on the music has seen an evolution from harsher noisy sound to warm ambient atmospheres. Now he mainly experiments with drones and field recordings, along with using a huge variety of different sounds and self-made samples, such as bells, whistles, xylophones etc. The newer works might even be considered as guitar ambient, although guitar sound is fairly modified, sometimes to an unrecognizable degree.
Enough Records is a Portuguese netlabel with a strong demo scene background that promotes, distributes and hosts music from artists who agreed to release through them - for free. It is run by Filipe Cruz.
Their emphasis lies in electronica, IDM, postrock, industrial, noise, glitch, drone and dark ambient.
Envelopes; the latest album by Latvian ambient project macabro brings a mixture of soothing soundscapes, combined with warm pulsations of deep bass rhythms. The artist draws influences from both (neo-)classical music and modern electronic glitch-sound material.
